The much anticipated addition of new digital projection, lighting and sound systems to the hall has now been completed. Funded by The National Lottery, the massive transformation project has now opened the hall to enormous opportunities to serve the local community even better – with a sound system tht delivers clear audio throughout, lighting that transforms the space into anything the mind can imagine and projection that allows us to digitally dress the stage for theatrical performances and display digital content on a big screen. We look forward to showcasing the new capabilities at events at the hall, starting with the 2026/207 pantomime “Gouldilocks and the Welham Green Bears” in in Jan 2027. Huge thanks to The National Lottery community fund for their generous support of our upgrade project and their understanding of community’s needs.
